Drug possession, theft and forgery among indictments

Drug possession, theft, uttering and forgery were among indictments returned Tuesday by a Franklin County grand jury.

An indictment is not a finding of guilty, but is a determination by jurors that enough evidence exists to hold a trial.

Indictments returned by the grand jury:

"David Jazmere Ashe, possess and carry about his person, hidden from common observation, a firearm without having a valid concealed permit, Sept. 28, 2009: and possess a firearm after having been convicted of a violent felony, Sept. 28, 2009.

"Alan Laine Beam, three counts of taking or obtaining a credit card or credit card number from the cardholder without the cardholder's consent, Oct. 2, 2009; take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, Oct. 2, 2009; and damage or destroy property belonging to another person with the value of damage being less than $1,000, Oct. 2, 2009.

"Richard Bradley Deel, break and enter a grocery store with the intent to commit larceny, Oct. 22; take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, Oct. 22, 2009; and assault a law enforcement officer while engaged in the performance of his public duties, Oct. 22, 2009.

"Gregory Brock Hall, make and communicate a threat to burn a building, Aug. 31, 2009.

"Alvin Clay Hill, utter a forged U.S. currency bill knowing that the bill was forged, Sept. 23, 2009.

"Frankie Wayne Hodges, possess cocaine, Sept. 21, 2009.

"Amanda Beth Janney, having received a visible or audible signal from a law enforcement office to stop her vehicle, did drive the vehicle in a willful and wanton disregard for such signal so as to endanger a person, Aug. 25, 2009.

"James Steven Laprade, operate a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other self-administered intoxicants having been convicted previously on two or more occasions within the last 10 years, Sept. 18, 2009.

"Andrew Vincent Lozinak, break and enter a dwelling house with intent to commit larceny, June 15, 2009.

"Jennifer Anne Thompson, injure and destroy property having a value in excess of $1,000, Oct. 21, 2009.

"Michael Tyree Tinsley, take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value less than $200 after having been convicted two or more times of larceny, Sept. 6, 2009.

"Derrick Thomas Wheeler, break and enter a dwelling house with the intent to commit assault, June 15, 2009; and cause bodily injury to another person with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable or kill, June 15, 2009.

"Rhonda Nicole Williams, utter a forged check, April 24, 2008; forge a check, April 24, 2008; and obtain money under false pretense having a value in excess of $200, June 6, 2008.

"Cheryl Adkins, three counts of failing to collect or truthfully account and pay over the meals tax imposed by Franklin County, July, Sept. and Oct. 2009.

"Jason Ellis Altice, obtain Lortabs by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation, Sept. 19, 2009; and possess Lortabs without a valid prescription, Sept. 22, 2009.

"Jeffrey Lee Brown, four counts of draw, utter a check knowing at the time there were insufficient funds in the account to pay with each check having a value of less than $200 and having two or more prior larceny convictions, April 2, 2009, April 8, 2009, June 19, 2009 and Sept. 9, 2009.

"Jimmy Reese Bush Jr., with the intent to testify falsely, give testimony upon a certain matter and on a subsequent occasion give a different testimony upon the same manner, Nov. 24, 2009.

"Timothy Lee Chitwood, distribute cocaine, Oct. 24, 2008; and conspire with others to distribute cocaine, during Oct. 2008.

"Justin Alan Dalton, take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, Nov. 17, 2009.

"Lowell Thomas David II, possess a firearm after having been convicted of a violent felony, July 7, 2009.

"Douglas Dodd, two counts of fail to collect or truthfully account and pay over the meals tax imposed by Franklin County, Sept. 2009 and Oct. 2009.

"Billy Eugene Hodges, break and enter a dwelling house with the intent to commit larceny, Sept. 9, 2009; and take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, Sept. 9, 2009.

"Ryan Blake Hodges, forge a check, Aug. 13, 2009; and utter a forged check, Aug. 13, 2009.

"Brandon Michael Kelley, take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, between Oct. 1, 2008 and Jan. 31, 2009.

"Connie Sue Mack, two counts of issuing within 90 days two or more checks which have an aggregate represented amount of $200 knowing at the time of delivery there were insufficient funds or credit to pay said checks, between Nov. 21 and Nov. 27, 2009; and two counts of draw, utter or deliver a check having a value of less than $200 knowing at the time there were insufficient funds in the account to pay, Nov. 21, 2009.

"Joseph Todd Mcneese, having received a visible or audible signal from a law enforcement officer to stop his vehicle, did drive the vehicle in a willful and wanton disregard for such signal so as to endanger a person, Oct. 23, 2009; and operate a motor vehicle in a reckless manner by exceeding the speed limit by 20 mph or more on the public highway so as to endanger the life, limb or property of another person, Oct. 23, 2009.

"Richard Rotunda, without the intent to steal but with the intent to temporarily deprive the owner, did use a motor vehicle having a value in excess of $200, Sept. 19; and take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, Sept. 19, 2009.

"Henry Eric Routon, four counts of forging a check with the intent to defraud, between Aug. 28, 2009 and Aug. 30, 2009; and four counts of uttering a forged check with the intent to defraud, between Aug. 28, 2009 and Aug. 30, 2009.

"Randy Eldridge Sellers, receive a credit card in the name of another person he knew to have been delivered under a mistake as to the identity of the cardholder and retains possession with the intent to use, Aug. 7, 2009; obtain goods or services having a value in excess of $200 through the use of another person's identifying information without the permission or authorization of said person, Aug. 7, 2009; and four counts of using a credit card obtained unlawfully to receive money, goods or services with the intent to defraud, Aug. 13, 2009 and Aug. 14, 2009.

"Kathryn Ann Stuart, drive while her license was suspended or revoked (third or subsequent offense), July 15, 2009.

"Gregory Paul Summers II, take, steal and carry away goods and chattels having a value in excess of $200, Oct. 26, 2009.

"Anthony Allen Thornton, drive a motor vehicle while his license was revoked or suspended (third or subsequent offense), Oct. 26, 2009.

"Antonio Viera, fail to collect or truthfully account and pay over the meals tax imposed by Franklin County, Sept. 20, 2009.

"Rhonda Nicole Williams, forge a check with the intent to defraud, May 8, 2008; and utter a forged check with the intent to defraud, May 8, 2008.

"Robert Aaron Williams, willfully and intentionally make a material false statement on the consent form required to purchase a firearm, Oct. 23, 2009.
