Gubernatorial candidate and former Attorney General Bob McDonnell, center, who established the Virginia Wall of Honor, a War on Terrorism Memorial, spoke Saturday morning at the annual Franklin County Memorial Day service at Veterans' Memorial Park. During his address, he recognized Daina and Darel Kubasak, parents of Army Cpl. Jared Kubasak of Callaway who died in Iraq on Dec. 12, 2005. A total of 180 Virginians are honored on the wall in Richmond, which was dedicated by McDonnell in May 2007. Approximately 150 people attended the ceremony.
